About GMA: Global Machinery Association


A Name, A Founding Vision

GMA Machinery was founded in 1989 by a team of senior design engineers and specialists with over two decades of hands-on experience in extrusion dies, sheet and film extrusion peripherals, and precision tooling R&D.

GMA stands for Global Machinery Association.

Global reflects our vision — a company built to serve customers across the world.

M began as Mold, the foundation on which GMA was established. Over time, as we deepened our collaboration with machinery manufacturers around the world, its meaning expanded into Machinery — growing alongside the partnerships we built.

Association speaks to who we are beyond manufacturing. GMA is not simply a producer of dies — we are part of an industry network, built together with our machinery partners, grounded in ongoing exchange and shared growth.

The two horizontal bars at the center of the logo represent the extrusion die itself: two steel components joined together, symmetrical and consistent in structure. The circular frame symbolizes the connection interface between the die and the extruder or flange — the critical point where plastic is transformed from a molten state into a flat sheet of uniform thickness. The red at the center represents plastic taking shape under high heat, emerging with precise, consistent thickness. It is the result every GMA die is built to deliver — the defining moment of the entire extrusion process.

Over more than three decades, GMA has grown from a precision workshop into a leading manufacturer of extrusion and coating dies, with customers operating across the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Germany, the United States, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, China, and beyond — serving industries from optics and medical to green energy, flexible packaging, and semiconductors.

From design and machining to assembly and quality inspection, every step of our process is completed within our own facility. Our manufacturing floor is equipped with over 50 advanced CNC machining centers, precision grinding and polishing systems, CAE polymer flow analysis tools, and 3D four-axis CAD/CAM software. We operate our own electroplating facility and maintain rigorous in-house quality control — because in the world of precision tooling, there is no room for compromise.

1989
  • GMA founded and engaged in Extrusion and injection die design and manufacture

1990
  • Focus on Extusion die and peripherals design and manufacture, for sheet, film,

    lamination and hollow sheet production.

1991
  • To meet capacity and development needs, invited outstanding professionals from the industry to establish a research and development team.
1995
  • Establish the brand as GMA and Introduced precision machine, enhance processing skill and ability
1998
  • Own development multi manifold-die、feed black etc. came out, applied for multi plastic sheet and film
1999
  • Own development PC hollow sheet die came out and obtain the patent in different countries.
2000
  • Imported CAE simulation system, combined design and process skill, enhance R&D ability.
2002
  • Cooperative development auto-die came out, applied on multi precision plastic product production.
2003
  • Own development extrusion die for processing TPU and EVA came out.
2004
  • Own development special extrusion die and peripherals for making over 300 layers film.
2006
  • Entered optical industry, design and manufacture extrusion die for optical product application.
2008
  • Built precision process factory, developed slot die design and manufacture

    Imported 3D modular system, enhance design quantity

2010
  • Cooperated with Japan technology team to build precision chrome plating factory

2011
  • Several own design and development are approved, obtained several patent of product design.

2012
  • Imported super precision process machine for CNC, grinding and polish.

    Built laboratory with equipment for coating test.
2013
  • Imported 3D simulation system, applied for more modify polymer and optimized design.
2014
  • Expand coating development team, focus on slot die , coater design and manufacture, optimized coating process.
2016
  • Obtained serval patent of processing skill, get good reputation in the market
2018

Silt die coater came out and applied on production line.

2019
Roll-to-roll
coating machine (solvent free/eco-friendly) came out and applied on production
line.
2020
  • Own design and development melt-blown die and spun-bound die came out and put on the production line within 60 days.

    Excellent team support anti-epidemic supplies equipment, awarded National Epidemic Prevention Contribution Award.

2021
  • Awarded Outstanding Enterprise of Taiwan Yu Shan Award prize of excellent team performance.

2022
Extend
and enhance special processing skill, for example: Hastelloy steel processing.
2023

Roll-to-Roll coating line for positive and negative electrode for lithium battery came out and applied on production line.
